Welcome to Westin Kierland, an AAA Four Diamond Resort oasis in the desert. Native Americans, pioneers, explorers and people of the past inspired the theme for this amazing resort. The state’s cultural heritage is complimented by the concept, landscape and overall experience of the design. This vast resort boasts accommodations of 750 rooms, a 60,000 sq. ft. Ballroom and two pools – the Adventure Pool for kids and Aquamiel Pool for adults, a fun in the sun lazy river, amphitheatre and 124,000 sq. ft. of outdoor function space spread over multiple venues to support the large destination resort.
Larry Sheehan managed and designed this project while at Burton.
