St John’s School Sports Field Renovation

Welcome to St. John’s School, a sports field renovation, and expansion of the playground and shaded lunch area located in Encinitas, CA on an existing site. The parish school utilizes the field for physical education activities as well as playground and lunch area. The facilities are also used for other youth sports organizations as well as larger community wide events. 5 different concept plans and preliminary cost estimates were prepared for school stakeholders to review and guide in selecting a final configuration and assist in breaking down the various phases of the project. A color rendering of the selected design was prepared to support the fund-raising campaign. These 5 plans included various configurations of the sports area to accommodate soccer or basketball for different age groups. Different playground layouts were created to show options if the lunch area shade structures were expanded. The scope also included Construction Documents for the first phase and obtaining bids.
